THE ELECTROSPRAYED INSULIN-LOADED POLYCAPROLACTONE MICROPARTICLES AS A DRUG CARRIER

Drug and protein encapsulated polymeric microparticles have been considered as the most effective delivery in pharmaceutical biotechnology. In this work, we report fabrication of polycaprolactone (PCL MPs) containing insulin via an electrospraying method. The morphology, chemical composition, physicochemical properties, encapsulation release efficiency, degradation PCL MPs, cytotoxicity are systematically characterized analyzed. results indicate that do not incorporate with matrix leading to deformation MPs’ structure. addition, can be loaded into MPs high concentration up 25 % while it remains properties when releasing from MPs. Moreover, demonstrates burst within first day, subsequently become more stable during 2-7 days. 80% viability cell suggests biocompartible cells. As a consequence, above mentioned material is proved has potential for carrier controlled application
